ROSÉ and Bruno Mars’ “APT.” Becomes Beat Saber’s Newest Shock Drop

Beat Saber has added ROSÉ and Bruno Mars’ “APT.” as its fourth Shock Drop of 2026. The track is available now on Quest and PC VR for $1.99. Co-written by both artists, the song was the lead single from ROSÉ’s debut album “Rosie” and has more than two billion Spotify streams.
Beat Saber's Shock Drop line continues with ROSÉ and Bruno Mars' "APT." as the fourth 2026 entry. Earlier 2026 additions included Yungblud's "Zombie" in June, Bad Bunny's "Me Porto Bonito" in February, and Twenty One Pilots' "Stressed Out" in March. The track costs $1.99 on Quest and PC VR.
The collaboration was written by both performers and led ROSÉ's debut record, "Rosie." It has surpassed two billion Spotify plays. Beat Saber also marked its eighth anniversary in May with three free original songs, while Meta has outlined a major update featuring Flux, full hand tracking, and a new progression system for spring 2027.
The addition may give Beat Saber players a familiar pop hit to play, while fans of ROSÉ or Bruno Mars could discover VR rhythm gaming through the track. A $1.99 price point may reinforce paid song packs as a norm, though free anniversary songs and planned Meta features could keep broader access in view. The biggest effects may be cultural crossover and audience growth rather than technical change, especially if upcoming VR hardware and hand tracking make the game easier for newcomers to try.
