Wardogs 0.1.2 targets cash and XP exploits with stricter bans

Wardogs update 0.1.2 addresses XP and cash exploits, including server-authoritative revive checks and reduced rewards for certain actions. Bulkhead says it has reset progression for players caught abusing exploits or real-money trading, and repeat offenders now risk permanent bans without warning. The patch also fixes security problems and a Windows 11 crash.
Bulkhead says players caught exploiting cash or XP, or engaging in real-money trading, have had their cash and progression reset. Repeat offenders may now face permanent bans without prior notice. The studio previously tolerated first-time offenders during Season 1, but says that approach has ended.
Patch 0.1.2 also makes revive validation server-side, caps rewards tied to vehicle fly-through abuse, scales buildable destruction payouts by completion, and lowers rewards for pallet deposits at FOBs outside the hot zone. It addresses security issues and WD-L020 crashes linked to a Windows 11 update, plus several gameplay and server-browser fixes.
Stricter anti-cheat enforcement in a multiplayer shooter could affect players who rely on exploit-driven progression, as resets and bans may erase time invested. It may also shape community trust, since legitimate players could feel fairer matches are more likely, while false positives or opaque enforcement might fuel frustration. Server admins and developers may see reduced support burden, though permanent bans without warning could intensify debates over proportionality and account ownership.
