Pokemon TCG Pocket Announces Limited-Time Mega Deluxe Pack
The Pokémon Company has revealed a special booster pack called Deluxe Pack: Mega for Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket, available from Sept. 29 to Oct. 28. The pack includes previously released cards from Mega Rising through Ruler of the Skies, with a guaranteed four-diamond or higher rarity card per pack. New features like community decks and deck rental are planned for late October.
The Deluxe Pack: Mega runs from September 29 through October 28, offering four-card packs with a guaranteed four-diamond or higher rarity card. Cards span from the Mega Rising expansion through Ruler of the Skies, with new illustrations and glossy parallel foil treatments appearing alongside previously released content.
Beyond the booster pack, late October brings several app updates. Community decks will let players view and replicate publicly shared decks, while deck rental allows unlimited use of decks built from the latest booster packs. A reworked step-up battle mode arrives alongside retired features, and multiple events—including a Parallel Foil Cards Mass Outbreak, Ranked Match Season B4b SP, Mega Garchomp ex Drop Event, and Wonder Pick Event featuring Charmander and Drampa—are scheduled through October.
This limited-time pack could draw returning players back to Pokémon TCG Pocket, particularly collectors seeking guaranteed high-rarity cards and alternate foil versions. The October updates, including community decks and deck rental, may lower barriers for newer players who lack extensive card collections. The event structure could sustain engagement through October, though the temporary nature of the pack may create urgency that benefits the app's daily active user metrics during the promotional window.
