Over 15 New Xbox Games Launch Today, Led By Gears Of War: E-Day And Ace Combat 8
More than 15 titles arrive on Xbox today, marking a busy start to October. The biggest launches include the Premium Edition of Gears of War: E-Day and Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve. Other releases include Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered, End of Abyss, and MXGP 26, while a Castlevania: Belmont's Curse demo is also available.
October 1 brings a crowded Xbox release slate, with more than fifteen titles arriving as the month begins. Among the largest are the Premium Edition of Gears of War: E-Day and the full launch of Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve. Gears' premium versions span Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Cloud, while Ace Combat 8 is listed for Series X|S.
Additional October 1 releases include Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered, which also has a free demo, plus End of Abyss and MXGP 26. A demo for Castlevania: Belmont's Curse is available now, ahead of the full game's October 14 release. Ace Combat 8's early reviews have positioned it among 2026's highest-rated titles.
The crowded October 1 lineup may give Xbox players more choices than usual, affecting how they spend time and money across several genres. A free Castlevania demo could make it easier for curious players to try before the full release, potentially building interest ahead of October 14. Cloud and console users may also see busier online activity around the biggest titles, though any broader cultural impact remains uncertain.
