Xbox Insiders have noticed a new Microsoft Rewards tracker on the dashboard and profile. It is designed to show daily streaks and the Xbox Game Pass Weekly Streak so users can avoid missing a day. Xbox has said it is testing features across Insider tiers and not every change will be listed in release notes.

Expanded Detail

The tracker surfaced in recent Xbox Insider builds, appearing on both the dashboard and profile. It highlights daily Microsoft Rewards streaks and the Xbox Game Pass Weekly Streak, giving users a visual reminder aimed at preventing accidental missed days.

This follows another Insider discovery: new game tile tags on the dashboard. Xbox has explained that it tests features across Insider tiers, so changes can differ by player, evolve, or never become permanent. Not every experiment is documented in release notes.

Context

For Xbox users enrolled in Insider testing, this tracker could make reward routines more visible and reduce missed streaks, potentially increasing engagement with Microsoft Rewards and Game Pass. If such prompts become standard, they may influence daily gaming habits and subscription loyalty. Others might see added dashboard elements as clutter, so the feature's reception may depend on whether users find the reminders helpful or intrusive.
