Super Mario Galaxy bundle rises to No. 1 in weekly Switch eShop charts

The latest weekly Nintendo Switch eShop charts for September 26, 2026 are now available. Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 has taken the top spot, pushing Metroid Dread down to fourth. Minecraft Dungeons 2 Deluxe Edition appears at fifth thanks to pre-loads ahead of its release.
The Sept. 26, 2026 Switch eShop rankings show Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 taking first, while The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is second and Super Mario Party Jamboree third. Metroid Dread, previously boosted by the Metroid Ravenous announcement, now sits fourth. Minecraft Dungeons 2 Deluxe Edition lands fifth through pre-loads before its release.
In the download-only chart, Super Mario Galaxy 2 leads, followed by Well Dweller and Pokemon FireRed. The all-games list also includes Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in the top ten. Minecraft Dungeons 2 appears at No. 24 as well.
The eShop chart shift may affect Switch owners deciding what to download, as top placements can increase visibility and impulse purchases. A strong debut for Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 could reinforce demand for classic Mario re-releases, while Minecraft Dungeons 2’s pre-load ranking may signal early interest before launch. Smaller download-only titles could gain or lose attention depending on chart position. Developers and publishers may use these weekly rankings to gauge momentum, though the chart reflects a limited snapshot rather than overall player behavior.
