Fan-Made PC Version of GTA: Liberty City Stories Appears Online

An unofficial PC port of Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories has been released, letting PC players avoid using an emulator. It is based on the PSP version, supports keyboard and mouse, and requires users to supply their own ROM because no game assets are included. The title is set in Liberty City before GTA III and follows Toni Cipriani of the Leone crime family.
The newly surfaced build gives desktop users a way to avoid emulation when playing Liberty City Stories. It comes from the PSP release, not the enhanced PS2 edition, and mouse-and-keyboard input works from the start. Since no game assets are bundled, players must supply a ROM themselves.
Previously, PC users could try a San Andreas mod that recreated the game's missions and content, but that project is no longer downloadable from ModDB. The narrative takes place in Liberty City some years before GTA III, with players controlling Toni Cipriani of the Leone family amid an open city, vehicle and gunplay systems, story jobs, and optional diversions.
This release could affect PC players who lack emulation experience, giving them a simpler route into a title never officially ported. It may also energize preservation and modding communities, while raising questions about rights and ROM sourcing. The wider public is unlikely to notice, but publishers and platform holders may monitor how such projects circulate.
