Today's Xbox Releases Include Witcher 3 Remastered and Final September Game Pass Title
Today's Xbox releases include The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Remastered, which is free for existing owners. Minecraft Dungeons 2 arrives as September's final Xbox Game Pass addition. The Witcher 3 remaster also bundles the Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansions.
The September 29 lineup places The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Remastered on Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Cloud. Owners of the original can receive the upgraded version at no extra cost. It also packages the Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansions, while updating visuals, gameplay, and character progression.
Minecraft Dungeons 2 closes out September's Xbox Game Pass additions. It is available through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and on PC. The article notes the title was sampled at Xbox FanFest in London, where it left a strong impression. More Xbox releases are also listed for the same day.
This could affect Xbox owners, Game Pass subscribers, and existing Witcher 3 players. Free upgrades may encourage revisiting older titles, while the Game Pass addition may draw new players into the subscription service. Bundled expansions could extend engagement and drive discussion around value. However, impact may remain limited to gaming audiences and depend on individual interest, platform access, and subscription status.
